Our Philanthropy

 

Nationally, Phi Sigma Sigma focuses on School and College Readiness as their philanthropic cause. School and College Readiness allows the sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma to go into classroom to help enhance the lives of many students via direct interaction, handing out book bags and supplies as well as offering homework help. Additionally, money that is collected from our philanthropy events goes towards a grant/scholarship students can apply to.

Locally, at Bloomsburg University, the women of Phi Sigma Sigma focuses on the Children's Hospital in Danville, PA. One of our previous sisters worked in the oncology unit which helped us adapt to this cause locally. Our sisters go into the hospital and paint windows, make holiday cards, and finally when we fundraise, all of our proceeds go to pediatric cancer.
